Coming Home

Hi Everyone, Today we brought our little daughter home. We wanted to wait at the hospital till she gets some checks before we leave, which took a while to organize, but although the standard is to keep mother and baby for 72 hours, the staff there released us even before we actually asked for (which led to an awkward situation when I called the hospital to talk to Ania, and the staff insisted that there is no Ania Taller admitted there). Anyhow, we are very happy to have her home with us. She really is unique, and keeps surprising us with her beauty and calm approach to life. Last night she slept 8 hours straight, and during the day she rarely cries. When she is awake, she gazes at us curiously and kindly submits to our many caresses and kisses. We had the house set up, and to this we must thank Benny and Nurit for their immense evergoing help. We now start the process of learning, as she teaches us how to be good parents to her, and how to look at the world through a newborns eye. We hope she will give us a passing grade. As for me, I can safely say that I am falling in love with our daughter the more I stare at her. I can probably look at her forever. I know she won’t mind. Here are the pics I know you’ve all been waiting for. I hope this will spur some comments on the blog…. Amir on behalf of the newely extended family

hi amir and ania
she is really very special.(reminds me a lot of amir when he was that age...).but sorry to disappoint you, they do change very quickly.i have hard time recognizing my own grandchildren from their last year pictures.(specially the little ones).but one thing is sure, she is very lucky to have such admiring and careing parents like you .i can see from her gaze that she is aware of that. (she looks so pretty and clever).
keep enjoying her and cherish every minute.they grow up too quickly!
love and a big kiss to Ayla .
